RGB Additive Systems for Displays

RGB Additive Systems for Displays

The RGB colour system is an additive colour system, in which the final colour is the sum of three different colours. The RGB system is very widely used in the electronic world, nearly all displays electronic displays operate according to this system. The theory of RGB begins with a black surface. The colour white is achieved using the maximum intensity of all partial colours, while black is achieved by setting all colour intensities to zero.
